Verifone Mx915 & Mx925 - Setting a Static IP

Summary

The steps below will guide you through setting up a Static-IP configuration on the Mx(915/925)

Configuration Steps

You will have to access admin menus to get started:

1. Once the terminal is fully Booted up press and release the 1, 5 and 9 key all at the same time.
   
2. If done correctly the following menu should come up, ensure that Supervisor is selected and input the following password: 166832
   
3. Once the password is entered, it should bring you to the next screen (All options should be visible on the Mx925 terminal, A blue arrow will need to be used on the Mx915 to scroll through the options.) where you will select the 'Administration' tab.
   
4. Tap “Communication”
   
5. Tap “Network”
   
6. Tap “Ethernet” afterwards
   
7. Once the screen changes you can tap on DHCP where a prompt will appear where you can change from DHCP to static
   

8. After selecting "StaticIP" the chart will provide additional fields to complete - to enter information tap on the blank field:

9. Once all changes have been made you will select "Apply" in the top right

Once completed the terminal can be rebooted.

if needing to erase an incorrectly entered number/ field use the Yellow button to backspace
