Instructions on how to manually enter a credit payment with the Ingenico Link 2500

How-To

To process a manual payment, access your software and select the option for payments and enter the dollar amount of the transaction.

Important: The API should reflect “disablemanualentry” as “False”. If it is set to true you cannot process a manual entry transaction via terminal.

The software should send a message to the device displaying the following options.

(insert, tap or slide card amount: $0.00, enter card).

To complete transaction.

1. Select F1 (enter card) from the payment type screen.

2. Enter the credit card number, then select the green button on the keypad.

3. Enter the expiration date, then select the green button on the keypad.

4. Enter the zip code, then select the green button on the keypad.
