Installation
The information below will guide you through the out-of-box installation process for the Ingenico Lane 3000.
- Connect the cable to the back of the terminal.
- Connect the ethernet end into the router/modem/switch.
- Connect the other available port with the power supply and the power supply to the wall – Once this is done the terminal should begin to boot.
- If receiving the Minimum requirement of 5Mbps and not blocked by any firewall, an activation code should appear on the screen after the terminal fully boots up.
If ports 9001 or 443 are closed the terminal will not be able to communicate to the TriPOS cloud.

- Pressing and holding the # and Yellow keys simultaneously will cause the terminal to reboot.
Potential out-of-box issues
Items listed below highlight issues that could be present out-of-box. If one of these issues is present, please contact FullSteam support to verify the issue and ensure a swap is placed right away.
- Physical damage in shipment
- “Alert Irruption” – Tamper protection has detected heavy impact or attempted tampering of the hardware.
- Incorrect cable – the Y cable that is shipped with the device should have a split into a power supply port and an ethernet cable.
if the cable only provides a power supply port, please escalate for a new cable to be shipped out.- The cable should have a port for the power supply along with an attached ethernet connection – if USB this will also need to be replaced.

No Activation / Activation Troubleshooting
If the terminal is showing TriPOS but will not provide an activation code on first time setup/if the terminal was removed from merchant track - only returning "2999 - Pinpad/none" Errors.
